During the 54th GAP Symposium, which took place from May 12th to May 14th, 2023, in Ustroń, I had the opportunity to meet with over 40 speakers from the worlds of science, business, and politics. Among them were Dr. Marzenna Guz-Vetter, Rafał Brzoska, Tomasz Brzostowski, Prof. Dr. Hab. Adam Daniel Rotfeld, and Dr. Mirosław Gronicki. In the cultural part of the symposium organized by the GAP Artistic Agency, we had the chance to admire a vocal ensemble and the Pablopavo i Ludziki band, which introduced us to a dance-like atmosphere.

This year’s two days of the 54th Symposium focused on current topics: the Consumer Revolution and the Economic Credibility of the State. Participants in the event included students and academic staff from the University of Economics in Krakow, as well as invited guests. The host of the Symposium was Dr. Michał Kudłacz from the College of Economy and Public Administration at UEK.

During the first day of the Symposium, I had the opportunity to participate in panel discussion and debates involving representatives from the worlds of business and academia. We pondered the concept of the consumer and how it is changing. Of course, the topic of artificial intelligence in this context could not be omitted. By the end of the day, we continued to explore the theme of changes and transformations, both in society and in electromobility.
