HackYeah is the biggest stationary hackathon in Europe! Participants are gathering together stationary in Tauron Arena in Kraków to work on tasks from our Partners and to work on open tasks. As IBM we Introduced Quantum Computing and programming using Qiskit and Python into the game. We asked participants to enter the world of quantum computers by using them for generating the art.Concepts such as quantum superposition and entanglement, but also noise and errors(since we’re speaking about noisy quantum computers at the moment) can be used for that in multiple waysand it is restricted only by the user’s imagination.
I had a pleasure to act as a mentor for the competing teams and sit in the jury to asses the proposed ideas. Finally I have covered basic Quantum facts on the main stage and deliver the reward to the winning team.
